The Phenology Wheel: A fun project for the New Year!
This will be our third and fourth year making Phenology Wheels. Phenology wheels are a fun and beautiful way to record and study a subject over time. You can choose to study anything! Kathy has done bird studies and flowering twigs studies. Nancy has done estuaries. Phenology wheels can be done over any period of time-a week, a month or a year. Some people record the moon phases, the weather, or flower growth. This is a fun project to do with children, too. We make our Phenology Wheels for a 12 month period.
